The total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in India is 34,76,701. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of cases i.e. 7,47,995. As India entered the third phase of Unlock on August 1, restrictions on several activities were eased across the country except in the containment zones. The government, however, has not allowed schools, colleges, metro rail service, cinema halls to open till August 31 in the wake of rising cases of coronavirus. But the government has allowed the opening of yoga institutes and gymnasiums?from August 5 for which separate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) will be issued by the Union Health Ministry.
