We've been polluting our oceans with plastic for decades, so it should come as no surprise that a lot of it has accumulated. But the ongoing coronavirus pandemic added fuel to the fire of plastic pollution thanks to the gloves, masks and protection kits becoming mandatory to keep infection at bay. Meet 29-year-old Saeed Darawsheh, a paraplegic diver, who dives to clean up plastic in the Mediterranean Sea with his dog and diving instructor. Here are some photos.

Heroes On A Mission: Dogs Join Italy Beach Patrol To Save People From Drowning

The Italian school, La Scuola Italiana Cani Salvataggio, has begun training dogs to save people from drowning, as part of the development of rescue operations for tourists and visitors to coastal places. These doggos already have saved several people since the beginning of summer. Did you know that these rescue dogs can swim as far as two kilometres away and carry up to three back to safety in addition to towing boats.
